In the production of barrels we use sessile oak that grows on heights 700 meters above-sea and higher. In the storehouse where logs are kept we conduct selection of logs according to their thickness and annual growth. For production of barrels we use logs that are 100 years old or older and that have at least 5-10 annual rings on one centimeter of stave width. Logs are sawed to lengths of 1 meter in order to get a straight thread, and are after splitting formed into staves.
